In the Cressi jacket range the S300 is the top of the range model of all those with traditional bags, that is, with the provision of air volumes equally divided between the sides and the back.
To further increase buoyancy and make it suitable for any type of dive, an extra air pocket has been added in the back-lumbar area of the jacket. It has a special elastic restraint which, in addition to reducing the dimensions of the bag, accelerates deflation.

The chosen material is a strong 420 denier Nylon which combines excellent resistance to wear with a decidedly low weight.

The weight carrying system is the famous Cressi L.A.S (Lock Aid System), which foresees the possibility of inserting all the weight in the two weight carrying pockets. On this model the size of the pockets depends on the size of the jacket and they are larger on the larger sizes (M, L, XL), with the possibility of inserting up to 7 kg of weights in each pocket.

Two large accessory pockets with zip fastening allow for the storage of even quite large objects, like, for example, an exploration spotlight.

The choice of materials, a new Colour Lock 500 denier Cordura and 420 denier nylon, reflects the current trend to make very strong but not too heavy BCs.

The conformation of the bag has been designed to offer extremely high comfort. The shoulder straps have a 20 mm increase of distance between them and the entire front part of the BC has a lowered profile, thus giving the arms the greatest freedom of movement. The shoulder straps are also separate from the bag, and are attached not to the bag but directly to the backpack and boast the new feature of being adjustable in length, so that they adapt perfectly to the physique of people even very different from each other.

Of the models for travelling and those for professional use this jacket has intermediate characteristics including a good sized sack, a simplified harness and the use of a material that is light yet at the same time very strong.

The extensive accessories include two accessory holder zip-up pockets, two weight pockets on the back, several stainless steel D-rings and two knife sheaths. A judicious choice of materials has made it possible to combine its extreme sturdiness with a smaller weight for air travel.
